A Social GPS for your Smart Phone ,... Neat!

My 12 month old Garmin GPS has been getting me lost lately  :(

I updated the maps, reset it and hoped for the best. Overall it seems ok but occasionally takes me to the wrong destination. Not acceptable.

So I did some research for road mapping devices found there are GPS Apps for smart phones, Iphones, Android phones etc, Great. Tom Tom and Garmin both have mobile GPS but I came across WAZE, interesting.

http://www.waze.com uses us,... you, me,  everybody whom wish to take the time to socialize with the app and keep each other updated, some of this done automatically. 

So rather than taking a route with a traffic jam!  you can check for any live updates and avoid the delay.

Have a read for yourself. 

I am yet to try this great sounding GPS for mobile phones but sounds like a great app and a road travellers best friend. 

The commute may soon be more enjoyable.
